Sohee (Korean: 소희; Japanese: ソヒ), born as Kim So-Hee (김소희) is a soloist and member of NATURE under n.CH Entertainment. She debuted with her solo The Fillette on Nov 8, 2017 and with NATURE in their mini album Nature World:Code A, released on November 12, 2019.
History[]
Early Life (1995–2015)[]
Sohee was born on Jan 20, 1995 in Busan, South Korea. As a young girl she attended Samsung Girls High School.
2016: Produce 101, C.I.V.A and I.B.I[]
In 2016, Sohee participated in the first season of Produce 101 as a contestant under The Music Works. She ranked 15th overall, and was subsequently eliminated in the final episode, narrowly missing out on a place in the final group I.O.I.
Sohee starred in mockumentary “The God of Music 2”, where she became a member of parody girl group C.I.V.A. They made their "debut" on July 8, 2016 with "Why", featuring Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls.
A month later, Sohee debuted in girl grouo I.B.I on August 18, 2016 with "Molae Molae". Consisting of Produce 101 trainees who didn't make the final line-up, they were formed at the request of fans. The group disbanded sometime between late 2016 and early 2017, following the filming of their reality show Hello I.B.I.
2017: Girls Next Door and solo debut[]
In May, Sohee starred in Idol Drama Operation Team, a web variety show which invited 7 girl group members (including Seulgi of Red Velvet, and Moonbyul of MAMAMOO) to create their own Korean drama as both scriptwriters, as well as starring as fictional versions of themselves. Their drama, Let's Only Walk the Flower Road, was aired over 8 consecutive days from June 26 on the Naver V app, until July 3. The group made their "debut" on KBS Music Bank on July 14 with "Deep Blue Eyes".
On November 8, Sohee made her solo debut with her extended play The Fillette, and lead single "Sobok Sobok", featuring Yezi of Fiestar.
2019: Departure from The Music Works and debut with NATURE[]
On July 11, The Music Works announced that Sohee had decided not to renew her contract, and had left the company.
On October 7, n.CH Entertainment announced that they had signed a contract with Sohee, and that she would be joining NATURE following the departure of Gaga. She made her debut with the group in their 2nd mini album NATURE World : Code A.
